Great stuff. Love the feel of your textures and surfaces (in all your works that is), they're aesthetically pleasing and realistic at the same time. Cool designs as well. Very much the style I'd like to go for when I have more practice!
Avatar...ha! This ship makes the Avatar ships look like cute little kittens. Anyway, I have to comment on the Comanche in the background...it's so sad that that program was scrapped. I used to play the computer simulation of that helicopter. That was a great time. Met some awesome people, and learned quite a bit about flying and that chopper. It was quoted at the time the game came out that the chopper was as capable in the real world as it was in the game, and even more so. That's impressive considering I could fly up to within 50 years of a Russian BMP pinging away at me with his radar active, and couldn't even tell I was there until my bottom bay doors opened to launch my missile, and by the, it was too late for it to lock on, because it was dead. I remember reading about it in a magazine years ago about its stealth capabilities. The research first done on just the shape was amazing. They did a mock up with real materials and place it on a poll rig about 80 to 180 feet up. Then they pinged it from a full 360 layered grouping of all the various radar devices going from 100 yards out to 3 miles (salt flats or some such place) and couldn't pick up the damn thing on radar. Then as they were actively pinging it, one of the guys at one of the radar got a ping. No one else did, but then the guy in charge, after being told that they might have to reconsider the shape put the binoculars up to his eyes and stared out at the shape on the tower. He laughed, and said to the tech, wait a minute, and see if the ping goes away, or for that matter, if anyone else gets a ping. The ping within a minute went away and the people in the room were kind of stunned. The guy in charge put down his binoculars and told the video guy to run back the zoomed in footage between just before the ping happened and when it went away. They were all stunned. There was a single fat crow that ended up landing on the hull of the chopper for the time it was getting a return ping. Then when the bird flew off, the "ping" went away. Interesting tech, too bad the canned it for unmanned drones. Idiots.
